Profile: Senior Lecturer

Datuk Kamaruddin Mohd Ismail is currently Business Development Director and Senior Lecturer at Saito Academy of Security Management. Prior to joining the college, he held the posts of Senior General Manager, Security and Safety and Senior General Manager, Operations at Malaysia Airports Bhd.

He had 34 years of experience serving the Royal Malaysian Police at district, state and headquarters levels and retired as Deputy Commissioner of Police. His experience include criminal investigation, special branch, narcotics, training, lecturing, research and planning. He was also a lecturer at the National University of Malaysia (UKM).

He holds a Diploma in Public Administration, a Degree in Business Administration and a Masters Degree in Law Enforcement Administration from The United States.

I graduated from Saito Academy of Security Management in 2008. I am now working in the human resource department of Safeguards Securicor. My work is very interesting as it involves training and people development, something which I have learnt during my course in Saito. 	Executive Diploma in Security Management The Executive Diploma in Security Management is a part-time course conducted over 48 weeks. This programme offers security professionals with a course of study leading to a qualification which is approved by the Ministry of Human Resources.
